Last night (or should I say morning?) , while Typhoon Caloy was making his presence felt at 2 in the morning, there I was in our room beside Jon and the sleeping Sophia munching on my Bacon Mushroom Melt, Baked Potato and my favorite Iced tea from Wendy’s . I got these as pasalubong from Jon who just came home from a birthday dinner at Marina in Timog. I have been craving for Wendy’s for ages and I just can’t pass up on the opportunity or wait the next morning before I get to nibble on my favorite burger again even if I was really sleepy lol. Takaw noh?
Just a brief background:
I lived a few steps away from Wendy’s Dapitan while I was in college at UST. And for the four years I’ve stayed there, Wendy’s has become my everyday comfort. Since I was too tamad to walk far to buy food, I always end up with Wendy’s since I pass by it every time I go home. I got to eat everything they offer, from burgers to chili rice to chicken to salads etc. And I loved everything they have but specifically my ultimate favorites were Bacon Mushroom Melt, Baked Potato and Iced Tea. Yummy!
After graduation, I hardly get to eat at Wendy’s since I usually don’t see any of their branches in most of the places I go to so I terribly missed their food. So I guess that explains why I opted to rather eat even if I was sleepy like hell at a cold stormy night very conducive for sleeping. 2AM PEOPLE!
