Two days in a row now, Jon and I have been eating more than we should because of this dish : Chili Garlic Shrimps with Coriander Paste and Kecap Manis.

Thanks to Connie of Pinoycook for the recipe which she posted online. You should try it, its oh so yummy!!! Just prepare your fat burner pill after like Lipovox, you’ll need it as I’m sure you’ll end up eating more than a cup of rice. :D

Its so easy to cook too. Here’s the recipe I got from Pinoycook’s site.

Heat about 3 tablespoonfuls of ghee in a frying pan. Add half a teaspoonful of dried chili flakes or a finely chopped and deseeded chili pepper (siling labuyo) and a teaspoonful of finely minced garlic. Cook just until fragrant. Throw in the shrimps. Stir. Add a teaspoonful of coriander paste and 2 tablespoonfuls of Kecap Manis. Stir fry just until the shrimps change color.

  1. the shirmp looks good but anu ung coriander paste? never use that before and kecap manis? hehehe di ko kse alam thai spice ba un kecap manis?
