…is what I had for breakfast yesterday after I went grocery shopping but unsuccessful finding dog ramps at Shopwise. Maybe I should try Makati Supermarket next time.

Anyway, it was also my daughter’s Linggo ng Wika celebration in school that day and of course, I wouldn’t miss it for anything. She came in a red Muslim Inspired Costume which I bought ready made unlike last year that I had one sewn for her. Will post some pics in my mommy blog.

Irresistable.

When I think of it, I spend so much on my diet pill of choice but I don’t really lose weight. And why? Because I never really cut on my food intake! Bad bad bad. But what can I do? I can’t seem to control eating especially if its something like this …

Who can resist yummy steak and pasta marinara? Well, not me! I indulged!!!

Feeling uber full after, I wanted to puke! Ang taba ko na kasi!!!!!

Hay, what to do?? I want to stop eating, pronto!

Pesto Pasta.

For some reason, I am so craving for pesto pasta right now. The recipe I used to follow is nowhere to be found so I’ll just look for one over the net. Here’s one I found at one of my yahoogroups which is almost the same as the one we usually make.

INGREDIENTS
1 pound linguine pasta
1/2 cup butter
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup pesto
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

DIRECTIONS
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add linguine pasta, and
cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in cream, and season
with pepper. Cook 6 to 8 minutes, stirring constantly.
Stir Parmesan cheese into cream sauce, stirring until thoroughly mixed. Blend in
the pesto, and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, until thickened.
Stir in the shrimp, and cook until they turn pink, about 5 minutes. Serve over
the hot linguine.

Its very easy right? will have this made this afternoon.

In the meantime, I have to look at some term life insurance quotes now.

I just need to post this other pic of my beloved baked macaroni, I think it looks way better than the previous pic on my other post.

Although this roast chicken doesn’t look appetizing in this pic, on the contrary, it was! Jon and I was able to finish this one whole chicken in a matter of minutes! I almost forgot to take a pic of it and was so eager to cut it so we can have a taste already (that explains the cut in the middle).

Here’s Sophia sleeping with her beloved pomelo. She won’t let go of it and kept bouncing it on the floor. Ball daw niya yun, goodness! She recently developed her love affair with balls of any kind.
