We rode the funicular again too as per the little girl’s request and even rode a golf cart at Midlands Golf Club. Sophia had a blast picking up golf balls while we were roaming around. I say, she’ll pass for a caddy!

Definitely with good food.

We went to Robinson’s Place Residence (above Rob Place) to meet with my in-laws. We then had lunch at the Shabu-Shabu Resto in Midtown Wing. I was finally able to taste Crepes and Cream for dessert after how Peachy and Abie were raving about it. For P95, it was sulit. I made Sophia take a nap after in the condo while Jon went to Cartimar to buy dog food with a friend. He has a new labrador by the way – show quality which spells expensive! Hay, thats another story by itself. On to my kwento, while the little girl was napping, I had time to go around and window shop. The Midtown Wing is promising but most stores are not yet operational.

By 5pm, we were off to Zucchini’s for a good dinner. Was able to take some pics using my cellphone. Take a look.

I had Ceasar Salad and King Prawns while Jon had Rib Eye Steak. Food was superb. You must try them! Their chocolate cake ice cream was to die for! I wasn’t able to take a pic of it though. Inaasar ako ni Jon eh, hehe

They are located in Timog, infront of Max Restaurant.

In the four days I was able to cook wagyu beef, mashed potatoes, buttered veggies, kare-kare, bicol express, sweet and sour lapu-lapu, kaldereta and chimichangas. Everything was yummy daw! Oh well, thanks to Pinoy Cook and some recipe books.

Was excited to cook food for noche buena I wanted to put my new kitchen appliances to test that’s why. Started the day marinating the steak I bought at Makati Supermarket. Asked my helper to peel the potatoes also and chop the veggies for the buttered vegetable side dish I was going to make. Took out the shrimps from the freezer and asked my helper, Jen, to cut them at the back so they would end up looking like butterflies. I just sprinkled them with salt and pepper after. Thanks to Jhoanne for my recipes btw.

By 7 pm, went to mass and when we got back Jon couldn’t wait to eat na and asked me to cook the food already that was intended for our noche buena. I said, it’s still too early but I cooked na rin anyway since I wanted to eat na also, hehe.

By 9:30pm, Jon and I were eating already. Our guest was yet to arrive ng 12mn so sabi namin we’ll just eat again I’m not much of a cook so no matter how simple the dishes I made, super proud pa rin ako At buti naman almost all the time that I attempt to cook, the result is successful. Here’s what I prepared:

Joni arrived at little past 12mn and true to our word, Jon and I joined him and ate again

Made kwentuhan and drank some beer after. Called it a night at 3:30am na. We still have a very full packed day on the 25th eh.

If you’re wondering about Sophia, well, she was past asleep already. She has no more gift to open as of Christmas eve coz na-open na lahat her gifts, hehe. Excited mommy kase! Besideds, i ddin’t want to let her stay up late coz we’re leaving early the next morning coz we have three destinations. Those three covering south to north- san pedro, laguna (jon’s lolo and lola-mother side), sta. mesa, manila (jon’s lola-father side) and pampanga (my family).

Today though was different. We had time to go malling again, just the two of us, without having to worry about our little girl. We left her in class–which she really enjoys to bits by the way. The little girl doesn’t cry or look for me at all while in class. She’s very comfortable with her teachers and classmates. Very ME Good good good.

So there, we were going around the mall lang checking some stuff here and there. Super babaw but enjoy We’re very simple people I tell you.

When we got hungry, we settled with Les Paellas after much debate because Jon wanted to eat at Super Bowl. He was craving for roasted duck while I wanted to eat paella negra.
